Your products are handmade to order and dispatched within 3-4 business days for standard size orders.

Larger bulk orders will take longer, but we will contact you with an estimated completion window.

Please measure your dog's neck with a soft tape measure, and ensure that you are able to fit two fingers between the tape measure and your dog's neck.

If your measurement is borderline between sizes, please opt for the larger size and include a note on your order at checkout, so we can make a custom size for your dog.

We are able to accommodate most custom sizes - please contact us at cosmicdoggear@gmail.com if you cannot find the correct size for your dog.

• 16mm is suitable for most miniature/small breeds and puppies.
• 19mm is suitable for most small/medium breeds - this is considered a 'standard' width.
• 25mm is suitable for most medium/large breeds, or fluffier dogs.
• 38mm is suitable for most extra large breeds and very fluffy dogs. This chunky width ensures the collar stands out.
• Two-Tones in multiple widths: This option is suitable for most small/medium/large/giant breeds and displays multiple widths for a visually exciting collar. Your chosen minimum width will be used to attach the hardware.
• Sighthound Collars: These collars are specially designed for sighthounds and long necked dogs that are susceptible to neck injury. 38mm width is used for the front of the neck, with either 19mm or 25mm added for the hardware.
• Any width more than 19mm is not recommended for smaller breeds due to the weight of the complete collar.

• 100cm is considered a short-medium length for closer control. This length is ideal for regular road walking, or keeping more control around distractions.
• 120cm is considered a 'standard' length - perfect for a little extra distance to reach the good sniffs!
• 150cm is considered a long length - these leads are perfect for creating distance between you and your dog, and allows them some extra sniffing enrichment!
• 200cm Double Ended - this is a multi-use training lead that is 200cm end to end and can be used in numerous ways. It has 3 D rings at different attachment points so you can alter the length of the lead to suit the situation. You can also add an integrated grab handle for close control.

BioThane® is the brand name of the highest quality waterproof webbing that is currently available on the market.

It’s a polyester webbing with a TPU/PVC coating which is waterproof, odour-free, durable, strong and easy to wipe clean.
The material is stronger than leather, with an average breaking strength of around 340kg and is also hypoallergenic and vegan.

Under normal use, BioThane® will long outlast leather, nylon and fabric dog accessories. 

All of our BioThane® products can be cleaned with warm, soapy water.

For heavily soiled items or stubborn stains, allow your product to soak in warm, soapy water for a while, then use a cleaning brush or cloth to wipe away the stains.

Please take extra care in cleaning your product within the material folds and around your hardware fittings. Ensure that your products are dried properly after cleaning, to prevent rusting of the hardware.

Regularly cleaning your product will help maintain your product, keep your hardware in better condition and minimize non-removable stains on the webbing material, allowing your product to look fantastic for longer!

Like all materials, BioThane® is not entirely stain-resistant; certain substances can still leave marks, even after cleaning. We do not advise using bleach or other harmful detergents, as it may discolour your product. Check Please check the official BioThane® website for more cleaning guidelines.

Regardless of which product you've ordered, all metal hardware items benefit from a bit of aftercare. To extend the lifespan of your collar or lead and ensure smooth operation of the clasps, we suggest regularly spraying the hardware components with WD40 or a similar lubricant. This practice will help minimize corrosion buildup and clear away debris and dirt that often accumulate in the small crevices of metal hardware. Just as we clean our clothes often, your pet's collar or lead will also benefit from a quick clean and a spritz of WD40 now and then.

We recommend repeating this process regularly, especially after washing the collar or lead and whenever the opening and closing mechanism of your hardware clasp feels stiffer and less responsive.

Yes! BioThane® is a hypoallergenic material, meaning it is suitable for sensitive skin.

Unlike fabric webbings, BioThane® dries very quickly when wet, which allows your dog's skin to dry off faster and breathe. BioThane® is latex free. 

The opaque BioThane® colours tend to hold colour significantly longer than the fluorescent colours. In general, the darker the shade, the longer it will last.

It is possible for certain colours, especially fluorescent colours, to transfer onto hair, skin or fabric. These colours are not hazardous and they should not present a health or safety hazard.  If colour transfer occurs, please wash with soap and water to remove stains.

Returns and exchanges are accepted on most of our classic products. Any custom made products from  out 'design your own' range are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
